    TPI ball screw

    If someone says pitch is 5mm. How may turns per inch is that.

    5 turns per inch assuming it is a single start screw.

    That is not quite correct. 5mm is approx 0.196 inches.

    yes, it's 5.08 turns per inch to be exact.
