Need some info on Wood CNC system for building guitars

    Hi all,

Need some info, just getting into CNC systems, Like some info or and recommendations on a good CNC system, will be building body's and necks.
I think I need to enroll in an architectural engineering program. When I'm done, I can build bridges and get over anything.

Do you want a kit, or ready to run machine?
How much do you want to spend?

If you go over to vectric web site and check out the forms there is a guy there, Alex Navarro, and from what I have seen, has some very impressive stuff, but I am sure it took years to master what he has. http://www.vectric.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12036

Porter Cable 892 do you think this is the best router for a system of this size?

I've been quite happy with my older K2 3925G system. my only regret is that I didn't get the 8" of z due to what I could afford at the time. there are days when an extra .75" more z than the 5" I have would really come in handy
