How do you find out what build they are on for V23? Is there anywhere I can check to see if they upgraded it? I am currently on build 1465. Is that the newest.
Thanks

Been a few since then, current build is 1595
Go here http://www.bobcad.com/updates/
Make sure you follow the instructions regarding drivers etc and also download the Release Notes from the same page.
FYI 1465 was not one of their best builds, in fact it was updated to 1478 within a couple of days if memory serves me right!!

Thanks Rob. I just saved the link and updated.
I'm currently at 1493 ... is there a good reason to update to 1595?
I usually don't update until it has been released for a while ... this allows for more "field testing".
Anyone have any idea what the new build provides (other then getting the Spanish version)?
Any issues with the 1595??
Thanks
Pat H
Hi Pat
One or two folks have said there are a couple of issues with 1595 and reverted back to 1493 which is a pretty good stable build.
I think it depends on what type of stuff you`re doing as some other folks are fine with the 1595 build.
Try downloading the release notes and see if there is anything there that might interest you.
If you have 1493 saved on your PC then it isn`t a huge job to go back, or if you have a spare PC try having the 1595 on one and keep the one you`re currently running as is for now???

Rob,
Looked at the release notes and I'm going to wait for awhile.
Nothing really there ... I'm just starting so most of my CNC stuff is simple 2d Mill.
Thanks,
Pat H
Build 1595 is more updates mostly on the lathe side.
I tried build 1595 but went back to build 1493, it's more stable for me and i don't have to screw with my post anymore.
Rob and ssoptical are on the money. If it was a perfect world I'd use build 1493 for all my Mill stuff and build 1595 for all the Lathe stuff. If you are doing Mill only, 1493 is for you.
FYI, I'm not having any problems with 1595. But others have found errors and I can reproduce them on my machine running 1595 so...best bet is to stick with 1493.
Ok my disk came with 1595 is thereanyway to get 1493 from the web site.
Give 1595 a good try first, it may be fine for you, only some folks have problems and if you still need to try going back to 1493 the link below should still be active.
