    DWC 110, Puzzled G54

My machine..I think is a DWC-110H and has Offset registers that just won't behave for me. (not quite positive on the H of my machine)

I have played with them more and find that they will work as incremental shift registers rather than offset registers as below..

    eg

    G54 G90 G0 X0.0 Y0.0.

if my G54 is X10. y10, then my program will move x10 and y10. IF I reset the program, it moves another x10 y10....somewhat incrementally.

Is anyone using G54...or in my case G (chair) ! !

    thanks in advance
    Sean

    G92

I have been looking at post examples of using G92 and am probably missing something on its usage and how it should relate my cad file. I am using the origin function to move to my picked up datum and then setting my g28 to be zero at that point. This tends to be annoying as returning to the datum is necessary and requires breaking the wire.

The post examples found seem to show the user starting in some point in space and just cutting.

    eg. my code

    G91 G0
    G48 P3 X0.0 Y0.0
    G90
    G92 X0.0 Y0.0
    G1F100.0G40X-102.642Y64.837
    M1
    M80
    M82
    M84
    F2.0
    X-102.642Y64.837
    Y36.200
    X67.359
    X67.699Y36.190
    X68.039Y36.160
