From Guatemala, we have a problem with a ROMI CNC lathe.
The turret (hydraulic) is not working as it should, the chuck closes/opens slowly and on the pressure gauge we only have 500 PSI (instead of 650-700)!!
We have already cleaned and checked all the REXROTH valves, cleaned the oil filter, changed the oil, checked for leaks.... ...but the problem persists.


We now suspect that the NACHI pump has a problem, but is there a way to confirm that the problem is the pump
(but ??there is no particularly bad noise from the pump)


Is it possible that the problem comes from a valve, for example, that creates a problem in the whole hydraulic circuit??
Are there any sensors involved in the hydraulic system that can cause the problem??

Thanks for your reply - The machine is year 2000 !!!
Do you mean the external rexroth pressure valve , or is this a way to adjust the pressure at the pump itself ??
