need 12mm or 15/32" ball end with 1/4" shank

    Greetings,

I'm trying to make some 12mm round cuts in Delrin using a Dewalt router. Life would be simple if I could find a 12mm ball nose end mill that has a reduced shank of 1/4", but I haven't even come close to finding one.

It would seem that all 12mm bits have 12mm shank. I did order a relatively inexpensive one to see if I can turn down the shank in the lathe, but I'm not too optimistic about that.

I've noticed that 15/32" is probably close enough to 12mm, and being SAE, it would probably be easier to find a 1/4" shank version, but no such luck I'm afraid.

Does anyone know where I could buy a 12mm or 15/32" ball nose bit with a 1/4" shaft?

    Thanks,
    Rusty
