    Unhappy ver.23 trial version

I was using the trial version on my laptop for reference purpose and learning tool. I cant seem to find it on line anymore , I did try to copy the original downloaded file, but I am getting open registry error.

I do have the ver.23 cd. how could I load it on my new notebook (that does not have a cd player)

The open reg error usually is a "set to run as administrator" setting needed

For the laptop/no cd issue, you could either copy the cd contents onto a thumb drive with another computer and use that, or just download the V23 installer online:

    Thanks Burrman,
Do you have to left click and select run as administrator everytime you start the program?
And how long does the full version last before it switch back to trial?

    Hi Claude,
If you go to the properties of the icon you use to launch BobCad, and set the run as adminitrator on the compatability tab and save it, it should stick through all future launches... I have seen where the UAC was set so high, that it was nessasary to navigate to the actual BobCAD23.exe and set it on there to have it stick.

The BobCad 23 installs and runs in demo mode always, unless a license is provided (Like a dongle inserted), then it runs licensed..

I know that for an initial install, the program would run for some amount of days and spit out code (3 or 5 days) before it required a license, but it wont do that repeatedly on the same computer, and, I'm not sure that the installer I linked to is the same as that original "demo" version also. It may just be a replacement installer that doesnt do that.
