Has anybody used this stepper driver?

while looking through ebay a few days I came across an auction for a 3 drivers and 3 motors. There is no information outside of the auction i could find.

What are your opinions on this? The auctions ended now but I might look into it for my next cnc project, when it happens.

It's a nice price and package, but the motors are a little small at only 116 oz/in
A fair price if all you use is the drivers!

WEll i was wanting just the drivers anyways. The seller says they are willing to sell just the driver board, and in their past sales i see 3 drivers for 150. Since i would only need 2, that might be okay. BUt I can always go for a HObbyCNC for 79. I just want to get some opinions frm people who know a lot more about electronics than myself (which is not hard to do). THis is going to drive a mini lathe when its all said and done, and i wont some power on the axes so the 116 wont cut it.

274 oz/in is about the largest NEMA 23 stepper motor I have seen, they have enough torque to run most mini lathes and mills. If you plan on cutting metal, I would suggest you jup to NEMA 34 as they are available in 1000's of oz/in!

Im not sure if those drivers will do microstepping, all I saw was full & half stepping in the ebay listing.

I also suggest spending the money on a known good driver like the Gecko G101 & G102, as they support just about everything!

The drives don't do microstepping, so you might have to scrap them if you end up with resonance. Take a look at xylotex also.
