Dynapath delta 40 cutter compensation problems.

I work for my family business which is a Machine shop of course. We mainly use Anilam controls but my uncle went to an auction and picked up a little mill with the Dynapath Delta 40 controller. I am a little confused because the people who had it before us had used G code to tell the machine how to run, not by using the event system setting up the nodes, how they did that I have no idea. But that is not my problem. Every time I set it up and program it to run something the cutter comp wont turn on, left, or right or anything. I can set it but it just reads over it or skips it and will mill right down the line I'm trying to comp it for. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!
