Y'all,
I recently picked up a Protomat 91s, along with antique software (1995) to run it on a steam powered computer of some sort. Probably an AT. Anyway, since I have to learn some software to run it, I'd just as soon learn something newer, up to date, like Eagle CAD or similar. But, the outputs of all the pcb programs are Gerber, and to make it worse, they output where the traces should be, not where the exclusionary routing path is.

So, I'm looking for advice on picking a software program (free or darn near) that can put out HP-GL code to run the pcb mill. If there is some conversion program that can take Gerber output from a pcb program and turn it into the exclusionary routing HP-GL, that's fine, too.http://www.cnczone.com/forums/images...s/drowning.gif

Thanks.
