I am Arne in Denmark and 57yo and enjoying my last weeks/months together with my new cnc. I have cancer and I decided to try to finish my project; proxxon mf70 + 3 nema23, laptop and a 3 axis TB6560 driver board and Mach3.

I have been reading in here for many days, since I have never ever as much as tried a cnc machine. I have seen one for like 30 years ago, that is all.

Thanks to all of you, my project is now finished and works like a charm. I did have some trouble with auto-zero, but finally found a way myself. I did not feel like breaking out my lpt cable and there was no way to get in contact with pin 15 on the driver board; unless having a very steady hand guiding my solder pen.

After sleeping on it, I found a way - Redefining a pin I did have access to.

A picture is better than words. So I attach a picture with an arrow where I took a pin and defined it as probe on P13, since I do not have an external Stop-button anyway. My arrow points at the 4-pin interface, which is p5 gnd and p4 is corresponding p13. I then made the changes in Mach3 to correspond with my probe.

But if I had not found this forum, then I never would have been able to finish my project, and therefore a thanks to all in here!
