    Need new Software

We are currently looking for a new software, for doing carvings, and more for general design, I am pulling for Enroute, because part of Enroute it is in our Kitchen Design Software already, and would save me $1700.
We do mostly designs on flat material, wood plastics, etc:
My question is I guess, what would you do?
Does someone think there is something better out there? I do not have the time to sit down an look through a pile of different software.

Vetric aspire software - download the free trial version and go from there. I bought it last year and got the update free this year to aspire 4. If I had it to do over, I'd do it again! Love Aspire!!!

Are you talking about 3D carvings or 2d surface designs? Do you need CAD software for creating the designs, CAM software for translating them into toolpaths, or both?

If you are doing mostly flat take a look at Vectrics Vcarve pro. At $600.00 very versatile and creates toolpaths Gcode and previews. Also can import 3D toolpaths. That is what I started with for a year then upgraded to Aspire so I could do my own designs in 3D. Free trial version- take a look

    Hi,
No one can beat the Vectric software. The support is excellent. You will really enjoy the Vectric Vcarve pro and if you want to relief machining then go to Vectric Aspire.
