Hello all,

Firstly sorry if this post is in the wrong topic, I have just joined CNCZONE and was not sure how and where to post.

I currently have 9 days to have my desktop CNC machine running.

I used to run it using a borrowed PC and driver system, However I no longer have now been returned.
I have my driver system sorted as I shall use System4 from DIYCNC.com.
A similar system to the one it used before.
I want to use MACH3 to control my machine and recently found it it is not just as simple as installing the software and plugging the system into the computer.

Apparently Mach3 will require its own machine solely dedicated to CNC.
So my question is:

What is a cheap and safe choice of PC I can buy (in UK) that will be guaranteed to run MACH3? Where all I will need to do upon receiving the PC is install Mach3 and its good to go.

I am a complete newbie to CNC and Computers specifications, so please spell it out as simple as is possible.

I am using the Dell GX520 small form factor desktop computer and it works great. It is an older computer and can be found for around $100 USD around here.

Dedicated is just a recommendation, mine isn't dedicated and haven't had any issues. I bought an Asus Pundit barebones pc and built it the way I wanted.
