DNC recieves lines of code but wont display it.

I am setting up my lathe with Fanuc OT controller primarily to send programs out to a PC and save it. After a day of adjusting baud rates, etc. I seem to have the machine and PC talking to eachother.

I'm using NCnetlite 7.0 for the DNC which I also use on another fanuc machine. So, I'm pretty familier with the operation. But in this case I have the Fanuc controller sending data out to the PC and I can see that the DNC program receives lines of code but then I check to see the data in the proper folder and there is nothing there. (I have double checked to make sure I'm looking in the place where it was saved to). How could the DNC see lines of incoming code but not save it or allow me to look at it?

    Thanks for any thoughts...

    Found the problem.
When I changed the "Handshake" setting from "Hardware" to "Software" everything worked fine. (the instructions said to use "Hardware")
