    Hardinge st-225 lathe

    We have a Hardinge st-225 lathe with fanuc 18-t controller. We can download prgms but cant upload via. RS-232 port. Machine parameters appear to be set correctly. They are as follows:
    0020=0
    100=00000000
    101=10000001
    102=0
    103=10
    110=00000000
    111=10000001

    Our laptop settings are as follows:
    Port=Com1
    Baud Rate=4800
    Data Bits=7
    Parity=none (must be set at none to download)
    Stop Bits=2

    Any help would be great

    Probably need more info on actual errors generated and software and steps used. Does your cable and computer work on another machine?
