Hello all,

Our Mazak QT20N w/ Mitsubishi (Mazatrol) T2 control has been coming on with an ALARM 20 "The Emergency Stop button on the operation panel or in the Electric control panel depressed, or the watch dog timer is not reset." most every morning. The spindle
starts turning slowly, then the alarm appears.

Any ideas?

Check if your EMG stop signals are ok and check the voltage is close enough to 24Vdc. And well check that watch dog timer of yours, and check if it is close enough to 5V. Also when system is abnormal it keeps resetting until it gets back to normal take a look at your electrical diagram and your pins to see what it monitors and check if you see something defective Mits should be able to provide you with the user manual of your watch dog, hopefully you have some electrical diagrams to take a look as well.
