    Offsets will not go away

    Hello fellow chip makers!

Have a problem with "Offsets" I cannot get rid of it. I do not call any off sets in my "G" code, but some how i keep getting an offset. some how mach 3 tells me the "Machine coordinates" which I cannot reset to "0", the "Machine coordinates" seem to wind up on "G54". I go in and make "G54" all zeros, but the same numbers wind up on the offset screen. I cannot get rid of these numbers, and its effecting my parts. this just started, so I have no idea how to get rid of the offset.

    HELP?

You might want to watch the tutorial video on offsets on Machsupport.com to get a better understanding of how they work.

The only way to zero "Machine Coordinate" (G53) is to home the machine using the Ref All button, or the individual axis REF buttons.

I go in and make "G54" all zeros, but the same numbers wind up on the offset screen.
When you zero an axis , you're setting an offset. G54 is the default work offset that Mach3 is normally in, so when you click the zero buttons, you're setting a G54 offset for that particular axis.

Thanks for the info, I understand how offsets work, i've used them in the past. but my problem is even when I first start the program it shows me x 2.889 y 1.468 z-.068. I hit "Zero" axis on the main screen, they go to zero, but if I run a program, the it is off by the amounts above.
