    oilmatic motor - Toyoda

I have an old FV65 Toyoda Mill with an oilmatic oil cooler that needs a new fan.

I don't have any info on the fan other than it's a unique looking little guy with a white case and runs on about 200volts (208?).

Does anyone know what RPM this fan should be and the particular type of motor if critical. I was told it maybe a split phase motor but don't know if that's correct or if it matters.

It seems to run in two directions but most motors can only run in one.

    thanks

Usually fans are not that critical items to sub, Japan uses 200v, hence the voltage, you should be able to source a 240v one, and run it direct off a mains source if necessary.
The other factor is CFM's and you can approximately guage this by how many blades, Blade dia and width to come up with a sub.
As long as the physical constraints don't prevent it, you should be able to shoe-horn one in.
Flow direction should be indicated on the fan or by examining the blade curvature.
