Hello everyone,

It's been months since I registered on the site , I look at a lot of conversion projects, cnc router choice etc ... . and after a lot of hesitations, change of mind , change of mind again and because of the difficulties to achieve parts for a conversion (hardware inaccessible ) I decided myself for 6090 cnc multitech brand. ( this Jinan region is very fertilefor cnc router .... )

After a short month at sea, customs clearance and capricious deliveryman ...... Finally it arrived ... my grail ...

The machine looks good to me :-) All axes are equipped with Hiwin rails, and I have a 2.2kw spindle with fuling inverter ( DZB200 ) . After reading different post , I decided not to chose for the DSP system and NCS but rather a 5 axis breakout board and Mach3 . I think the whole will be enough for a light machining in aluminum and good in the wood.

After having carried it trough the house, it's now in my small workshop where i started to do the wiring... before the first cut .

I would like to ask you a few questions .... sometimes a bit silly but sometimes I become crazy to find the correct and quite reliable informations... Indeed , I have found nothing "general" where we could have a series of tutorial for basic connections .

As I have not opted for the dsp system , I bought a small control board on ebay.

I'll put in the middle of the case ....

I now have to plug it and... I have a few questions ....

Let's start with the wiring diagram I found

Attachment 222222

On it I see how to connect endstops on which terminals, how to connect X / Y / Z and pul dir, where to put on the 5V .

But, base on this scheme, I've seen lots of different opinions about Enable terminals . I 'm not 100% sure to understand their use either .... Can someone enlighten me on this point. In the drivers manual , they say that these two terminals are not generally connected and at the end of the booklet there is a classical connection and they are connected ... No, but, seriously, can you confuse me more ....?

Then to connect the inverter, I'm not sure on how ton connect it... where do I plug the 0-10v connector on the inverter (manual) ?

Also for the relay controlling the on / off spindel power ... What do I cut? How should I wire it? I should not use it?

While we're talking about the inverter, there is a mini switch with a side PNP and NPN other ... can someone tell me what it is and what position it should be ? (currently PNP, PS: there is no mention anywhere of the PNP abbreviation in the manual ... ! )

Again, relative to this breakout board, it says you can use the P17 terminal as a relay by connecting a jumper . I wonder very foolishly ... ok it's a pin but... where is the other one ... is it the ground ? I have to add a relay to these connectors if I want to connect something bigger? -> The spindle is water cooled and the pump must be fed , could I use this relay to actuate the pump ?
If I'm wrong about this P17, what is it for?

Also, i was wondering what is the PWM for? For what kind of use is it?

Sorry, it's a lot of questions, but I think it is sometimes difficult to find matching documents and sometimes there is no information at all (I did not find anything on the on / off pin ... ) so, I tell myself that I could do a small synthetic documents, as soon as everything is up and running , which could serve everyone.

Thanks in advance for your responses and reactions :-)

PS: sorry for my english... i'm not a native speaker.... :-S
