Desktop CNC - Base and table DIY start

Desktop CNC Base. Maed from 7/8" phenolic and presicion milled structural aluminum extrusions. Includes 1/2"-8 2 start leadscrew with Dumpster CNC antibacklash leadnut. Techno-isel heavy duty T-slot table extrusions (slots one side). THK SHS15 precision double ball cage linear bearings. Base is ready to have X axis assembly attached to included pair of Mic6 cast Alu tooling plate mount plates. I can provide plans and photos of X -axis (and Z).

Working envelope 8.5x14.5.

This base was rigid enough to CNC aluminum, I've used it with plastic sheet goods. Using the identical design I built a new base that increased my X travel to 14.5". The replacement base cost over $900 to make.

The parts alone on this base are worth:
Phenolic Base $300 (conservative)
Leadscrew $20
Leadnuts $10
X axis Mic6 mount plates $40
Motor plate standoffs $10
Linear bearings $150
Precision milled flat extrusions for linear bearings $90
Plus T slot hardware

Total $630 in parts.

Sell for $275.

I've included a phto of the X-Z axis that I moved to the new base. Only the black base with T-slot table in the photo is included in sale.

I'll be happy to assist with detailed photos and answer assembly questions on the X-Z axis if you need them.
