Need help Cutting From Enroute To My Xylotex Driver Board

I finally got my cnc router built and I bought Mach 3 and Enroute 3. Now I need help getting enroute to output to my Xylotex board. I don't know what driver Xylotex uses.

I tried exporting DXF and HPGL file and converting to g code to cut from Mach 3 but it does not convert properly.

Does and one know what driver Xylotex uses. As far as I can tell it doesn’t use one and if that is so how do I get Enroute to output to my cnc?

Any input is very much appreciated.

    Justin!!!

I dont know enroute, but i guess its a CAM system, no? I think you misunderstood the case, CAM outputs to Mach, Mach outputs to xylotex. So the problem is Enroute to Mach, which proberly is the converting from DXF to G code, you need to find the correct post processor

Well you’re right about going from enroute to mach..... I was pretty sure in the beginning that - that was how it was supposed to work..... Then I saw output options and drivers for other cnc machines in enroute and I thought that I could just go from enroute to xylotex.

I did however find out that you can "output to file" or "output to machine" so what I did was I changed the parameters of a cnc driver file (in enroute) from some random machine in the driver list; it also happens to be a machine that saves the output file as an *.nc file, some of the other drivers save there files different of course, and I put the specs of my cnc in the parameters so it matches the *.nc file and from what I see it will work just fine.

    Thanks for the input!!!
