AM882 chinese FAKE ALERT question.. strange differences...

    Hi all !

Beware ! there is a lot of AM882 Leadshine drivers on aliexpress and ebay.
If you take a look closer, the Blue cover is in molded plastic with 4 screws.

On the Leadshine website, the enclosure cover is in folded metal with 2 screws.

I was just about to buy 2 of them.
This auction on Ebay shows both covers. I was wondering why the colors were different, and didn't realize that one was plastic.

After checking Ebay again, it looks like almost all of them have the plastic cover.
Maybe the plastic covers on on the newest versions?

..or Maybe since Leadshine doesn't sells this driver because it has been replaced by the EM series with the EM806.

i've just emailed leadshines to know the truth... we will see..

i've seen another story of a fake drivers :-) that s why i'm a litlle bit suspicious, but i havent said it is not genuine, Just want to know...
but it seems to be the same seller in this story
    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/compla...opal-ebay.html

    - Are you satisfied with this Driver ? it could be a good copy if it is a copy :-) anyway i would be happy to read reviews about this driver...

    - Why not using a plastic for the enclosure but i think a conductive backing on plastic inside, is necessary for EMI shielding purposes...

I asked a friend who uses a lot of AM882 drives about this. He told me that he has used both types, and they are all the same. He said there should be nothing to worry about.

I bought two of these from Primopal on Ebay, and received them today. They certainly look real, and very high quality.

Thank you very much for your answer and your pictures !
Please let us know how does it works on your cnc, i'm very interested in the tuning, and the level of difficulty to tune this well.

    Hi All
Leadshine is a good brand ,now many fake products online for sale.
And now Leadshine will don't supply after-sale service for who buy Leadshine products from ebay , aliexpress or other online channels .
For good quality and service support , the recommeded way is from Leadshine directly or Leadshine distributors .
