    Chinese ATC BT30 Spindles

    Hi

    Does anyone have experience with the chinese BT30 ATC spindles?
    There is almost nothing to find.
    How is accurate are they?

    I have one with the chinese pneumatic drawbar. It dropped right into the BT30 spindle mount of my Syil linear x6. Everything is fine but the power required seems to be excessive, especially when compared to the pneumatic actuator of the Tormach. I have put a rubber bumper in between the actuator head and the drawbar to quiet it down a bit. The precision seems fine. I don't do a lot of micro work so when I expect .0005-.001 resolution without too much fussing, that is all I need. I'm running mine at 6k rpm on al without any noticable wobble or oversized holes.
