Question Arduino-based cnc with cncsheild3 servo issue

    Greetings,
I'm not sure if I'm in the right thread or topic for posting this question or not , sorry in advance
I have been working on a homemade CNC machine using Arduino Uno and cncsheild 3. I wanted to make a cnc plotter with 2 step motors (Nema 23 with a4948 drivers) and one servo motor (MG995) for z axis.
I uploaded grbl to the arduino and the software I use is grbl panel.
The software for generating gcode is InkScape. There is one extension for Inkscape that is called MI Inkscape Extension. It enables grbl to work with servos.
The problem is that the servo doesn't react.

P.S Servo heats up , even when not working

What could be the problem ?

    Thanks in advance

I don't think GRBL normally works with RC servos and no Inkscape extension is going to allow it to. It does look like there is at least one custom version of GRBL for RC servos, one is just called grbl-servo
