    Hurco hawk 5ssm

Currently i have a hurco hawk that has a cmos check sum error.
Reaching out for any help i cam get to get this rest.
On the main screen its asking for F1 to be pressed which on the monitor doesn't do anything.
I have a Ps2 keyboard but no adaptor yet for the db9 serial port on the electrical cabinet
The computer boots with 2 beeps and the screen loads up to the stage of the cmos checl sum error press F1.
The machine did run fine maybe 3 years ago but has been off power since then

Ok so i got a keyboard hooked up managed to press f1 and got into the Cmos settings i followed a hurco service bulletin and went through all the standard and advanced settings.
I copied what bloke suggested in another post for the cylinder heads 1223 sect 50 etc amd manged to boot the system.
It brings me to the part set up screen and the progam screen
But the main controller none of the buttons work i can only use the keyboard.
It wont allow me to press manual power, cycle start to enable the drivers.
Its like the machine has forgot ot has the controller all the parameters needed to set it up arent there.
Really need help here if anyone even reads these anymore.

Just wanted to add pictures of the CMOS, advanced CMOS, Peripheral, chipset settings hopefully someone can help.
Were a small start up company and I've contacted Hurco who basically said we don't really have anyone that can support this machine due to its age and the knowledge bass isn't working there anymore.
Basically they have no one that knows these systems anymore,

I’ll see if I can find some settings for that CPU from my old mates at Hurco.

Looking at your pictures, it may be that the Canbus Controller has been interfered with. There is usually a 10 way ribbon cable between the edge of the board and the DCIO backplane board (the one that the IO/IF board is plugged into)

No. The connector near the red LED.

It should plug into the backplane for the I/O cards - right at the back by the smaller yellow circle.

If your keyboard isn’t working, it could be the Canbus Controller is faulty.

The keyboard ive plugged in works just the main control panel once the machine boots up dosent take over.
Even though when its booted the front panel seems to initialise fine.

I see the cable port you're looking at but its not here unless the previous owner removed it i dont have it are you sure thats definitely missing

This is the rear of the monitor i think the blue connector should be on the circuit board below and another ribbon cable from the FDD to the circuit board would that be right?

Machine diagnostics page "Enter 100 Enter" when loaded to machine parameters

    Another piece of information.
"Enter 527 Enter" brings me to the dignostic screen where i can test the console keyboard
What ive noticed is that the buttons for the nubers apart from 6 dont work
Manul aux test input also don't work on this test not sure if that tells you anything but the front panel keyboard doesn't pass this testing

Could be stuck keys. Unplug the membrane keyboard with it powered off, power it on and navigate to the keyboard test again and then plug the membrane back in. If any keys change status on the screen, that may be your stuck key.
