Hello,

We have a CNC Citizen Cincom M-16 and are experiencing an issue with the file system. The error message is: File System Error 7.

This error occurs every time we try to call, edit, or save a program. It happens regardless of whether we edit a new program or an existing, proven program, so a program fault is excluded.

Actions we have taken:
Cloned the entire old disk to a new one (same issue).
Erased all programs completely (same issue).
Replaced the battery on the PLC board – the new battery has 3.62V (no change).
Performed disk defragmentation (same issue).

What else can we do?

Could the issue be in the memory cassette? We have a complete backup available.
