    Unhappy Calibration issues?

    Hi, everybody.

Apologies if this is the wrong sub-forum.

I bought a BlackToe 8'x4' machine - assemble it yourself from a kit, very DIY.

I've got Alibre->Cambam->CutViewer->EMC2 working and parts appear to be cutting Ok BUT I find that depth of cut is inconsistent from task to task: pocket works perfect, then a profile is off, the next profile is fine, all on the same piece of MDF. I cut the same piece three times and when I lined them up side by side there were obvious (>1/8") differences - what should have been square was progressively more diamond with each piece. It doesn't appear that the bit is deviating from the path - if it's getting it wrong it gets it wrong the entire job - I copy/pasted the parts in cambam, to combine three tasks into a single gcode script.

I've already tried to tighten the sprockets and shaft collars to prevent slippage. How do I diagnose and fix this?

    Thank you very much!

    Re: Calibration issues?

The cooperative mode in Escape Road is a blast! Playing with friends adds a new layer of strategy as we work together to solve puzzles. It’s a fun way to bond and experience the game in a different light. I highly recommend trying it out with friends!
