    21-iT

    Hi, we have a lathe with a Fanuc control 21-iT that doesnt have these on the control ( ) parenthasis....I dont know how to spell that,,bear with me. Is there a hidden menu to access these? its a pain not being able to insert information from the head. If we want to add information, but not G-code, we have to pull the program, add our information lines and upload back to machine.

    Parameter 3204 bit 0 (PAR) changes the [ and ] to ( and ). 3204 bit 2 (EXK) turns on the extended characters. I would change bit 2 so you'll still have [ and ] for macros.
