HI WE HAVE A HITACI SEKI LATHE WITH 10 T CONTROL,WE'RE GETTING AN EMERGENCY ALARM BUT THERE IS NO MESSAGE TO TELL US WHAT IS WRONG!THE CONTROL WILL POWER UP AND THE HYDRAULIC PUMP WILL START BUT NOTHING ELSE.WE TRIED THE RESET SOFT KEY BUT NOTHING WORKS ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Check the small red digital display on the spindle drive unit. ( inside the electrical cabinet )

If there are any numbers on it other than 0000, there is a problem within the sindle drive unit.

For instance if it reads AL17, the MV RAM chip is faulty, ( stores all the spindle info like max min RPM ).

Simple fix to repair yourself if you have common sense and a screw driver, contact Fanuc by phone to advise.

thanks for the reply,our problem was we had to reset the clutch but....now we have other issues i will start another thread on that issue.
