    wrapping around cylinder

I am trying to wrap a scetch around a cylinder is it a rectangle for testing purposes. basicly it should look like a helix but when it come around to 360 deg or further it fails. should use a helix to do this or am i missing some thing ?

I dont feel like downloading your file.
I am fairly sure that you cant overlap a wrap. If you need features that are full helical revolution a sweep would be the way to do it.

The wrap will work, the error is due to the coincident point at the edge, zero thickness. Before you do the wrap, extend the cylinder a little, do the wrap, and then cut away the extend.

Note: if you cut back to the same place you may get the zero thickness error again.
