    BEST ROUTER

    Hi All

Can someone suggest me the best router i can buy for my CNC machine 4x4 table , the router must be 240 volts and I need to cut plywood 16mm thick the cnc structure supports large router, but the problem is that i liked cilindrical type roters like porter cable but today they have confirmed to me they only do 110v ones

Any suggention on type and model I am thinking of around 1000watts of power

    Thanks

How about a 240v to 120v step down transformer? Then you can use the Porter Cable.

Get a cheap Chinese spindle from e-bay. They are much quieter, accurate and more powerful than a router. You can buy a kit that includes a VFD and spindle together. I bought mine direct from china and it is great! Check out my gallery for photos.
