    Multi Processor?

Can someone give me some info on these? I've got a 1992 4020 with a CNC 88HS control. I'm wondering how to tell if it has a multi processor or not. Also, if it doesn't what is involved with an upgrade? Where can I get a multi processor?

    Thanks,
    Don

The structure of the Fadal contorl has been mulit-processor since the beginning of the Fadal Machine. Adrian de Caussin, a computer scientist, built the original control configuration with multiple processor running at the same time to reduce the wait time for a single processor to complete all data handling. At the time this was far faster than anything on the market.
The up grades to the machines today are faster processors and improved software.

    Don--
All Fadals can be upgraded to todays config. The extent of the upgrade depends on the current config as to how much must be upgraded.
