    Need advice please deburring wood

I am in need of advice on the mass deburring of small wood parts. The parts will range from 1 inch square and 1/8 inch thick to 4x6 inches 1/2 inch thick made out of Cedar wood. The shapes may vary from small wooden crosses to animal shapes, to squares and circles. I am cutting them out on my cnc router but the task or deburring and slightly breaking the edges and corners becomes a huge time consumer.
Has anyone tried tumbling or vibretory deburring of wood? What would I use as media? Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks Ron

    Ron,

Do you have any pictures of these parts? Are there small details on them or are they flat? What type of ratio of parts do you make? More smaller or larger or about even.

I use to work for a distributor of vibratory finishing equipment but now work at a machine shop. I have seen this done before with wood parts.

What type of tumbler do you have and what is the frequency of parts?
