    Hi guys

Is it possible to machine undercuts using SolidCam without pivoting? I only have a 3-axial machine.

I have to machine the V-groove of the following unit. Unfortunately it has an angle of 98°. I wanted to mill by line with a prism cutter (90°).

Does anyone have an idea how I should make it?
    I’ll appreciate any tip!

    Greetings

    Hello Christoph

I made that with 3D surface editing.

    I used a prism cutter DM 60x20x90°.
Prism surface as editing mode and upper line as manipulation geometry.

    Covering 0,5.

    Hi Paranuit

    I can’t get it somehow…
Could you make a couple of screenshots?
I believe I’m just too stupid.
How did you define the tool? Maybe that is the problem.

    Thanks
