Check this out! I made this cradle for my son. He out grew it in a month and a half! Now it is a show piece and family heirloom. Its made from poplar (The only wood I have in any quantity) and has tennoned legs.

when i was waiting on my daughter, i went to the library and got a plan for a danish style cradle (rocked end to end like a boat) it became a toy box for years and is in the attic of a building i sold a few years ago. i had forgotten it untill now, think i will give them a call today!

Thanks for the complements guys! When I was building it my wife said it was a waist of time.
The inscriptions are in keltic. One says "Good knight and sweet dreams" and on the other side of the stretcher is says may "God bless you".
