    Exclamation serial port connector to usb

    changing to a newer pc and it does not have a serial port connector will a serial to usb adapter work

    I would not reccommend the USB to serial adapter, it seems that more customers then not have issues connecting, or staying connected with one of these adapters.

    If you have a desktop PC I would recommend a PCI expansion card that gives you a native serial port.

    If it is a newer laptop, they do make Expresscard adapters to serial, but the results have been similar to the USB style adapter.
