    KL23H86-20-8B stepper voltage

Im wanting to upgrade my power supply.

What is maximum amount of voltage can the KL23H86-20-8B motors take?

im currently running them at 38v i want to run them at 72v-80v. to get more speed and upgrading to the kl8060 drivers.

I've read that power supply voltage should be no more than 25 time the rated voltage. for the steppers thats 4.17v x 20 = 104.25v ???

then i've read on gecko sites that the formula to use is 32 x (square root of mh) 32 x 2.60768096 = 83 volts ??

i want to hear from keling. can i use a 72v-80v power supply on these steppers?

It will be ok at 72VDC if you have a high Voltage driver
