    LSK problem with my fanuc

    Hi all,
I have Fanuc 6T-A controller when I try to load a program into my fanuc memory I do the following :
1-set the lock key to write(unprotected memory)
2-set the mode selector key to EDIT
    3-Press the READ key
4-set the lock key to LOCK.

This is what I do to cnc, but this does nothing, I read before that when the CNC is ready to receive the information of the program, the initial LSK cominezan to flicker but this kind are not to be done.

I do all the setting required like:
    Parameter
    000 bit 5 = 1
026 bit 7 = 0 (the bit on the far left) should be a "0" so the control will send Xon/Xoff signals
    002 bit 5 = 1
    024 bit 0 = 1 (for 2 stop bits)
    025 :1 1 1 0 1 1 1 1 (4800 )

    under SETTING : Punch code = ISO, INPUT DEVICE 2 = 1

    Thanks

After you hit the read key what happens? Are you "setting the lock key" right after hitting read?

After step 3 does LSK flash?
You should then go to the PC and send the program.
Don't do step 4 until the program has finished loading.

    Do you get any alarms?

Where did you get those parameter numbers? I'm looking at a 6T-B manual. I wouldn't think they would be that different from a 6T-A... do you have a 6T-A manual?

    Parameters for 6T-B:

#340 (IDVICE) = 2 (RS232C; set parameters for baud rate, etc. in PRM #311)
#340 (IDVICE) = 3 (RS232C; set parameters for baud rate, etc. in PRM #312)

    #341 (ODVICE) = 2 or 3 (as above)

#007 bit 7 (ICR) = 1 (LF is punched for EOB) = 0 (LFCRCR is punched for EOB)
#009 bit 1 (REDT) = 1 (Storage of proram to memory is started by pressing CYCLE START in EDIT mode.
    #311 bit 0-3 = 1001 (Baud Rate 4800)
    #311 bit 4 (STP2) = 1 (2 Stop Bits)
    #311 bit 5 (RZSBC2) = 0 (Control Codes DC1 ~ DC4 are used)
    #311 bit 7 (NFED2) = 0 (Feed is not punched)
