I was thinking about buying a used trotec speedy c40

    Hi

I need to get me a laser engraver for engraving name plates to customers.

First i bought a china laser from ebay, i payed way to much and it didnt work any good. i tryed to change it to mach 3 but just problems.

So now i was thinking about buying a real laser engraver,

    there is two options

    1. a used trotec speedy c40 its from 2002 and have done 4000h, the company have hade parts swapped out etc. i dont know about the laser

    2. buy a laserproi c180 on ebay for arroudn 6000usd

what is the best choise. is it safe to buy a old laserengraver whit 4000h on the clock, whit one is the better quality machine.

    thanks

    best regards tomislav

What is your budget? What size parts are you going to be engraving.
For instance we manufacture a C02 galvo engraving system that is capable of engraving an 8x10 plaque in 15 seconds.

    Hi

my goal is to buy one in a few month unless i find a used one in europe for a good price. oterwise i will buy a small one like the laserproi for 6000-10000usd +shipping and taxes i live in sweden so i will need to add shipping and taxes.

after trying to buy chinese i have decided to get one from a big company like epilog laserpro or so
