Greetings!

I'm trying to verify that my G540 works, but cannot get the green light in Step 3 of the manual.

When I flip the charge pump switch to DISABLED, the red FAULT LED turns off, but the green one does nothing.
I have also tried disconnecting the motherboard and powering it up separately but no dice.

This sounds like it could be one of a few different things. Have you watched our troubleshooting video for the G540?

The green LED not turning on could be caused by damage to the motherboard. Can you take pictures of the motherboard near the LED and email them to [email protected]? We have seen cases where G540s have been taken apart in the field and the LEDs have been damaged during reassembly. A few pictures would help me see if the problem is mechanical damage.

As it turns out, only the green LED was not working, the rest of the G540 is working fine!
