Boss Laser not firing, need someone smarter then me.

    Hi All,

I recently bought back a LS-1420 boss laser from a guy who bought it from me awhile back.

He said the original tube (65w) was bad so he replaced it with a 70w, (still using the Original 60watt PS in the machine) He thought he damaged the tube as he said he used Antifreeze in the chiller and thought it did "something" as its not firing at all.

I get it back home here and put in a new 50 watt tube and PS, as its what was available locally fast.

It is not firing at all.

In doing the interlock test from Boss I found that I am not getting 120v input into the PS as they call for, (they sau the RED and Yellow with Green Tracer should be 120v but I am getting only 54.2v there, The RED and GREEN wires i do get 120v across them.

I have swapped PS's out, bypassed chiller (as he broke that too) so I am running a pump
Tested the ground wire to ensure its not faulty going to the PS)

SOMETIMES it will move the needle on the Amp meter a flicker but usually not.

I am out of ideas and hope someone here can point me in a direction to test or solve?

    Thank you
