    Hello,

I’d like to know what I should pay attention with a second-hand Chiron FZ12 to. Except for good working… axes are ok

    Thanks

If it has a cage changer, then you should test its mechanics for abrasion.
The repair of the details can be very expensive.

    Hello,

Check up the air hoses, sometimes they mellow and become inflexible.
If there’s a tilting table, then you should pay attention to dashpot on the left and right under the table. It certainly depends on how much time you have for the viewing.
Generally speaking these machines are good.
It’s very important if the previous owner has cared about attendance.

    Hello,

thanks for your tips. That’s exactly what I mean. The small things that one doesn’t immediately think about.

    Super! Thanks!

Hands off from the SK30 achievement. It’s only for boring.
    Check the Z-axis for perpendicularity.
Besides check the sundry air hoses.

    Hi,
Hands off from sk30 is nonsense. I mill with sk 30 milling head from hoffmann with 3000 u/min in steel feed is 4000!!!
Unfortunately not more, cutting depth 0,5 mm

Before you make such statements, you should clarify with old tools…
