    Machine Data Connectivity

Has anyone recently connected their machines to a data analytics platform?

    Hi,
'data analytics platform'.....what on earth is that? Does it make better parts, or shorter tool paths or anything else? If not then it a waste of time.

A suspicious mind might say that an open-ended question like that ... could be a prelude to a spam thread.:joker:

That is exactly my suspicion, a couple of his other threads seem a bit aimless to.

Helps you identify defect causes and bottlenecks...? There are trade-offs that come with using data analytics, but it's usually only a waste of time for really small shops.

Do you get a lot of spam on this forum? That's too bad. I can understand the skepticism.

    I prefer the description "open-ended"
