hi guys,

Owned mori seiki lathe. wanted to utilise cam software but did not know which one. seen alphacam software run on excel mill centre (fanuc controller) & look impressive. pls advice any other cam software suitable for my mori.

If it's a Fanuc control, pretty much anything will work. You may have to edit simple Mcodes for chuck open/close etc., however a lot of cam programs were kind of built around Mori's from what i've seen. In fact a lot of builders kind of copied a lot of what Mori does.

hi, yeah its fanuc! at one end its an advantage but too much software options makes diff. to choose.
