I have a sharp SV-2412 CNC Mill (circa 2004) with FANUC oi mate MB controls.

I recently homed the machine with the Z axis already up past the reference limit (oops). The Limit switch on the Z axis tripped and I got a "1020 Overtravel Z alarm."

To correct this, I removed the limit switch trip-dog so the machine would think it's not at it's soft limit, and moved the ram in -Z towards the table. I put the trip dog back on the column and the machine home'd just fine to the reference position.

But, now when I go into MDI mode, I cannot get the machine to execute any programs. I've tried "T6M6" M3S1000" but no tool change or spindle action will happen. The green "spindle CW/CCW" buttons won't turn the spindle on either. In the lower left corner of the display, the machine says "MDI STOP" which I've never noticed before. Do I need to reset anything because I tripped the soft limit on the Z axis?

The screenshots attached show the display at MDI with a tool change block written in. The next screen shows what the machine displays after you hit cycle start with that MDI program (it just erases the MDI program and does nothing).

Any idea what's happening here?
