    waterjet cutting speed fluctuations

hello this thread is about possibility of improving cutting speed on a waterjet

material olc45, 32mm height; shape to cut and afferent machine program are attached

shape is simple, few geometrical entities ( 12segments + 10 arches ), while program is long ~800lines only for movement

consider a cutting value 60 [mm/min ] : for a segment, machine starts at 5 mm/min, and raises until the middle of the segment, and after it decreases again to take the sharp angle with low speed; speed is changed at discret segments of 0.1length, and so maximum cutting speed is not achieved every time

is like acc / decelaration paliers are way too long ...

    - movement begins near material, not on it's surface; if material is pierced at 60mm/min, why not start with 100% speed ?
    - how long should be a deceleration palier, before taking a straight corner ? i was thinking that 5..7 mm should be enough, so just to go full speed till there; reduce speed with 5 mm before the corner, and take it
    - for arches, depending on their radius, i guess i must consider 30 .. 40 ..60 ..80% of full speed ?

i am not sure, but i believe that i can drasticcally improve speed please, are there some tricks to handle this ?

    for this shape:
.... for 15mm/min speed, overall time was 30minutes
.... for 30mm/min speed, overall time was 18minutes
.... for 60mm/min speed, overall time was 15minutes

time is almost identical for 30 or 60mm/min ... kindly !
