Hi all!

Hope some one can help me or point me in the right direction:

I´m working at a custom furniture factory where we make walk in closets, wall panels, TV wall units, all custom made. We have a SCM Sigma Prima 65 Beam Saw with Wincut 12 and the raw material we use is mdf with wood veneer.

Currently we input all the pieces by "hand" to wincut from a list we make from the customer drawings. Almost all drawings are 2D made in Autocad so we need to make a bill of materials by hand, then input that info to wincut.

So I´m looking for a software that can help me get the info from the 2D (or 3D) drawings to make a cutting list so I can import this list in an optimizer, and save time by making the optimization in a software to get cut file.

I already have searched software like Cabinet Vision and Imos, they are great but I need to "redo" the entire project again in either software, to be able to make a bill of materials to get the list of parts with measurements, and it´s a

considerable investment, and the time I need to invest on knowing the software, so I´m looking for all the options available.

Another way is to just get the Optimizer, like Blue Cell or Ottimo, but I still need a way to get the info I need from the drawings to get a cut list to feed the beam saw, some one told me I can use Autodesk BOM Assigner & Exporter

(https://apps.autodesk.com/ACD/en/Det...ng=en&os=Win64) or BOM Extractor (https://apps.autodesk.com/MEP/en/Det...en&os=Win32_64) But

I understand that the drawing needs to be done in blocks with certain attributes to be able to get the info I need.

I´m looking at Sawing Table plug in from Autodesk (https://apps.autodesk.com/ACD/en/Det...en&os=Win32_64) But I don´t know if it´s my best bet.

So I hope someone has been in the same dilema as I am right now and give me some good advice to save time and money.

Many thanks in advance!
