Hey

Like the title says.. I am wondering what could be the reason for a diameter to be on size but if the machine goes down for 10mins and no changes are made... why would the diameter of the part go .001"-.002" undersize. This is on a CNC lathe. From my understanding the spindle bearings would be the main cause but we are using Kitakos that have 4 spindles. 2 get loaded while 2 are being machined. It seems this happens to both spindles that go to the 1 head. So either both spindles have the exact same issue or there is something in the x and z axis slides or turret that would cause this? Once it runs for a bit the diameter naturally climbs up to where it was and holds fine.

Thanks in advance.,
