My only CNC/machining experience has been with a 4-axis hobby cnc stepper setup on a homebuilt router table. I have recently purchased 5 Advanced Motion B25A40 brushless dc drives http://www.a-m-c.com/download/legacy/b25a40k.pdf to run a Bridgeport I'm converting. From what I understand, I need about 1000 oz-in to run my X, Y, and Z. I have a couple Baldor "big mho" servos I picked out of a scrap pile years ago. They are 192 oz-in but I think they will work for my rotary tables. My concern is, the amps are 120-400V dc and the motors are 24V max. I'm assuming the amps put out up to whatever I put in which will be 120. Can I crank the output voltage down enough to run these motors? Can I use a voltage divider?

Thanks,
Kevin
