Hi all can any one help i have got most of mach3 working with a 6040 mill it starts to cut does two paths and then move to the right and cut the same so they are side by side and then moves to the middle of them and cuts it again and over laps them

What programme are you using for your Gcode.
Post your code so we can see if any thing is wrong.

hi thanks for trying to help file is inported to cut3d to slice it in to layers and ach layer is then saved as g-code and then opend in mach3

Have you tried cutting something simpler in 2D first to sort out your problems before you tackle more advanced 3D.

Hi people.
I'm the beginner, so could you please answer my question?
is it ( possible) to use one PC for both artcam and mach3 ?
or it is obligatory to run only mach3 on the PC and use another one for other softwares?

Otar your hyjacking this thread,you should start a new thread.

I use mach3 and artcam but not together as it will crash one of them.
So if you have them on the same pc only open one of them at a time.

I'll try to explain: I've got the dell notebook and PC. If necessary I could use my dell for the artcam but as I have a huge monitor for the PC it would be much more convenient for me to run artcam on PC where I have already installed mach3.
what would be your advice?
P.S. next time I will take into account your remark about hyjacking the thread

Mach3 has some samlpes you can try under Gcode file or just cut some simple shapes out to try.
